Photography album by Ludwig Nikulski captures his trip around Japan searching of a person who wrote him love letter. The letter was fictional and the trip was an artistic experiment documented by his medium format camera. The dilemma posed by the publication is, what happens when you look for someone who doesn’t exist?

Hardcover book with woven 150 gsm Peyer Linesse cloth casecover. 150 gsm bulky coated Maxima Volume paper was chosen for the inside pages and 140 gsm bulky coated Maxima Volume paper was chosen for the endpapers of the book. Tipped in image on the cover was printed on Adhoc Patty Matt adhesive paper.
Hardcover book with woven cloth casecover and tipped-in image on the front cover. The canvas of the book is decorated with black matt foil with embossing. The color of the endpapers match to the color of the casecover and overwhelm a sense of cleanliness and minimalism. Inside pages are printed onto bulky coated paper.
